Dr Erping Zhou received a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai University of Science and Technology, China and a PhD in Engineering (Mechanical and Manufacturing Systems) from Staffordshire University, UK.
Since 2011, she was appointed as a Reader in Engineering Systems within the School of Engineering. Previously, she was a senior lecturer, lecturer, researcher and visiting academic in University of Bolton, Staffordshire University, University of Wales College, Cardiff, UK and Shanghai University of Science and Technology, China.
Dr Zhou is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a visiting professor of Shanghai University, China.
